Bill Grant to Judge International Interior Design Association Competitions
29 February 2008 - Grant Design Collaborative's president and creative director, Bill Grant, has been selected to judge two upcoming competitions for the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). Now in its 35th year, IIDA's annual Interior Design Competition recognizes and rewards outstanding interior design, honoring design professionals in the categories of corporate, education/institutional, healthcare, hospitality, government and residential/retail. The 16th annual Will Ching Design Competition recognizes talented designers working in firms of five or fewer employees. Its goal is to encourage the development of new ideas and techniques in the design and furnishing of commercial spaces.

Grant joins other well-respected jurors from the architecture and design community. These include Peter Conant of Conant Architects, Mark Harbrick of the Huntsman Architectural Group and Elva Rubio of Bruce Mau Design. The judging will take place at the IIDA offices in Chicago's Merchandise Mart on March 1st and 2nd.
